Travis Scott is the whole rage
The famous sicko mode rapper, performer, singer, father, gamer…. superstar

American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer is vastly known for his heavily Auto-Tuned half-sung and half-rapped vocal style. He is affiliated with Kanye West’s GOOD Music and T.I.’s Grand Hustle. Scott debuted with his first full-length project, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, which was self-released in 2013. With his songs being charted at number 1 numerous times, he is also among the world’s best-selling music artists, with over 120 million records sold.

Jacques Bermon Webster II grew up in a suburb of Houston and began making music as a teenager. Webster went through difficult times in his journey to becoming a musician. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio before dropping out to fully pursue his music career when he was a sophomore. After that, he immediately moved to New York City in an attempt to start his music career. His parents were frustrated with his decision and eventually cut him off financially. At the age of 16, Webster embarked on his musical career as a record producer, with a focus on hip hop production. He subsequently entered his first partnership with his longtime friend, Chris Holloway, forming the duo The Graduates in 2008.
Albums

Throughout his career, he has released a total of 3 studio albums with 2 collaborative albums and 2 mixtapes. My ultimate favorite album is the last album he put out which was in 2018 Astroworld. This album was released to critical acclaim and helped him gain his first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single for “Sicko Mode” (ft. Drake). This album didn't just summit charts and attain positive reviews from the critics, it became a signature for his sound as an artist and helped him acclaim his throne as a Hip-hop musician in the industry of music.

In 2021, his fourth studio album Utopia is predicted to be released. unfortunately, a few months ago a few tracks from the album got leaked and there are ongoing conspiracies and speculations about the artists who might collaborate or feature in it.

Songs
SICKO MODE ft Drake
If you are new to him it's definitely best to start with his chart-topping record-breaking title for Astroworld. Right of the bat, it starts to build, and it's definitely a hype song with the beat drop. But the best part is how many sections the song has. It's a three-song compiled to one. Rolling stones depicted the song as,
“Each movement of the song sounds distinct, but each hits the same emotional register with unnerving accuracy.”
BUTTERFLY EFFECT
It's a chilled, laid-back with a hypnotic turn to it. The song embodies an anthem identity with its concept portrays how small causes can have large effects. He also emphasizes moving on to his new life with his high expectations for his current life and how he could never go back to the old one.
Antidote
As I previously discussed in his song sicko mode, he is very experimental in creating a fusion and combing songs, and making one whole. This song is one of them. The intro starts with some talking and suddenly it cuts off and the short pause leads to Travis spitting bars. In his interview with CLIQUE, Travis said:
“If I told you the whole story of the creation of “Antidote” and “Impossible”, you would hallucinate. I was stuffed, it was shit. I found myself alone for 2 weeks. I stayed in the studio and it came. I did it all in one shot. We did a concert in Dallas and I sang it for the first time, it was absolutely crazy. Shit was not even supposed to be on my album.”
I like how experimental he is and always trying to bring something new, fresh, never been attempted which is unconventional but that makes it more interesting. His highly expected album is soon to be released this year. The album will consist of songs that have been released with additional new ones. Do check it up when it comes out as his music is consists of many flavors and choices for all listeners.
